The District Employment Exchange, Thoubal came into existence on the 21/12/1981. Since then, it has been rendering employment services to pay a vital role in identifying area of occupations for employment assistance and providing the job seekers in self employment ventures and so on. It is located near the NH No. 39, and just opposite to the Deputy commissioner officer complex Thoubal. Achievements/Activities Four(4) days District Level Awareness programme on Employment and Career Planning for Secondary and Higher Secondary Students were organized by the District Employment Exchange , Thoubal in in collaboration with the Directorate of Employment, Manipur, Imphal w.e.f. 08/04/2010 to 09/04/2010 and 29/10/2010 to 30/10/2010 at the Auditorium Hall of the Waikhom Mani Girls College, Thoubal. |
District Employment Exchange Thoubal render free Employment assistance, guidance and motivation to the job seekers to acquire suitable job according to their qualification and experience. Collect up-to-date information available from the Employers/Institutions regarding job opportunities training and self employment facilities etc. Guide young educated job seekers in re-orienting their programs etc. according to the present needs.
